Interested in visiting historic cities in the West or throughout the United States? Each year, the National Trust for Historic Preservation chooses twelve communities around the country that are important both culturally and historically. There are many towns on the list I have not been to, but some of my old favorites are on the list as well like:
Bisbee, Arizona
Butte, Montana
Georgetown, Colorado
Helena, Montana
Jacksonville, Oregon
Silverton, Colorado
