Stay on the boardwalk. While Lassen has no Old Glory theres plenty of Volcanic activity to be found.
One of the least visited of the National Parks Lassen has something for everyone. Reservations not required. Forests, pristine lakes, volcanic activity, easy backpacking in the backcountry, great views and wonderful campgrounds. Should be one everyones must see list.
