Yeah, it is kinda HDR-y, isn't it?
One school of thought about HDR is that it makes photos that look more like what your eyes can see....since your eyes have a broader dynamic range than any film or digital sensor (so far) can capture without HDR.
The opposite opinion is that HDR photos are fake and people use it cause it makes photos look better, reality-be damned!
