This trail is one of the best wildflower hikes in SW Colorado around the end of July or the first week in August. The view from the top of the mtn is pretty sweet as well.

Great Picture steve, great color did you have a filter on the camera. The flower is in focus and every thing else how'd you do that.

Thanks, Kevin! I used a polarizing filter. If your camera has an "aperture priority" mode, you can select a narrow aperture setting (I probably used F8 in this pic) to get a greater depth of field.
