Anne and I just got back from Saline. Days around 75, nights around 50. These are very mild temps for this time of year, normally we are freezing our butts off. There was hardly a soul there. Very quiet and mellow.

South Pass is worst I have seen in 30 years. Not that the washboard is worse, but there are long stretches of rubble from washouts and floods. Much of where the graded road used to be is now high clearance 4x4 track. Just the way I like it! I am pretty fast at the South Pass but it still took me 2.5 hours.

I never blew out a Rancho nor a ProComp shock, ever. But with only 350 miles on a new set of Bilstein 5100, left front shock totally blew all its oil out on South Pass.

We left via North Pass. While it was 75 degrees back at the Springs, North Pass was 26 degrees and snow dumping on us heavily. Had we left any later we would have been chaining up.

Is the main hot pool back in action; reports of a year to two ago was that it's source had stopped flowing

It was actually about 7 or 8 years that the lower springs lost its hot water. It was only an issue for a few months.
