September 2015, east edge of Yosemite NP, California, 20 Lakes Basin viewed across Saddlebag Lake. Day hiking the 20 Lakes Basin is less crowded than Yosemite NP and more scenic than many Yosemite high country trails. Saddlebag Lake Road is a little east of Tioga Lake on Tioga Pass Road. The high peaks include Shepherd Crest and Excelsior Mountain.
