This may have been covered before but in my quick search I have not come across it.  When I click on "Quote" or the "Multi Quote" button the referred to Post does not appear on my reply. Any help?

Cheers,

Capt. Tim

Hmmm.... Using the Quote button should be straightforward, so if it's not working for you there may be some issue with browser settings or similar hard-to-diagnose weirdness.

For example, to quote your post I just clicked on the Quote button in your post and a reply window automagically appeared that included, quoted, your post.

Is that how you've been trying to do it?

"MultiQuote" is a little different.  You click on Multiquote in each post that you want to quote, and then down at the bottom of the page click on this:

What type of computer -- Windows or Mac or mobile OS (Android or iOS) -- and what browser are you using?

Thanks for the very quick reply :)   I have Windows 8 on a Toshiba notebook.  When I click on the Quote button the standard reply page shows up without the quote.

Cheers

Hmmm.... I don't know...

Maybe someone else who's experienced this can comment.

And I'll think about it more, too.

Neither the Quote nor MultiQuote buttons seem to work on my Windows 8 laptop but work fine on my Windows 7 desktop.

Foy,

If you normally just close the lid on your laptop when done, try a full shutdown rather than a suspend or hibernate. Sometimes you just need a fresh start. May not help but doesn't take too long to try.

I thought getting old would take longer.
