Thanks! Ya know, I think we're gonna sell the bike. It's been nice on the few occasions that I've used it, but I think we're gonna switch to bicycles.

It's not too big or hard to manage on the hitch (it's a 200cc - Yamaha TW200) but it hasn't probed it's usefulness.

First off the little TW just simply doesn't feel safe at highway speeds when everyone's doing 60+ and I'm barely doing the limit of 55. It gets in the way when we are going in/out of the camper, and it's just too much to work with taking off if we're only stopping for a night.

The idea was great, but just like the front box that is now gone, I don't think the bike had proved it's usefulness.

Haven't had a chance in a while to sit down and copy text and images over from our website, so instead I'll have to tease everyone with a few photos. Obviously you can head to Traveling-trio.com to read the full stories and see what we've been up to, but for now this is all I have time for - I get yelled at for spending too long on the computer by the missus 

We've been all over the California coastal area for a while now, had a few hiccups since we last updated here, got pulled over for the first time in my life, got woken up and asked to leave a roadside camp spot by local LEOs, thought about selling our rig and moving to something else, nearly called it quits a time or two, finally found decent work, decided to keep the rig and upgraded quite a few things to make it more "liveable" and make 2016 a better year on the road!

We never saw a call from you!!! Of course we've been off grid here and there so you might have called when we were out in the boonies! Give us a call when you can, we'd love to catch up!

Thanks for a great read. I've read this thread and most of your blog. Great stuff. And about Alfredo the lady is right. Anyone who knows Samoyed's would see it instantly. We raised them for years as well when I was a kid. The curled tail, A biggy is the eye lashes, And the smile. They don't call them the smiling dog for nothing. They are sled and herd dogs. But primarily they were bred for watching and sleeping with the children to keep them warm and safe. The most human like dogs I've ever been around. Super social. It's a very old breed. Very hard to anger them usually. I think she is right on the shepherd part as well. That would explain the shorter coat. Samoyed's have a 2 part coat. Outer guard hair very tough and weather proof. Inner soft and downy for insulation. And yes they never stop shedding! They are also very hard headed about training. Make it a game and they'll do anything. Make it work and they are like beating your head on a wall.
