I really dislike how insurance companies go out of their way to make your life a living hell after a accident.  There is enough stress from the event, you don't need them fighting with you to do what you paid them to do! 

 

Glad they came out ok from the accident with only minor injuries.

That is quite a testament to the strength of our campers,FWC/ATC.

That could have turned our soooo much worse.

Maybe I have a sick sense of humor, but had to laugh when I imagined the poor guys FWC flying off the truck on the freeway.  FUBAR

Thankfully, he got through to someone at the insurance company and was compensated.

Sad it happened but you gotta admit they're pretty tuff campers. Most vehcle roofs don't hold up that well.

Yeah but don't get to thinking it IS a roll bar. If you truly want rollover protection you want at least  1 1/2" tubular steel, preferably mounted to the frame. One of these days I really need to get my Jeeps roll cage tied in to the frame. I have visions of the frame and body winding up in separate places.
