2007 Four Wheel Camper Eagle

Second owner.  Bought from original owner in 2013, out of Oregon.

We have thoroughly enjoyed, upgraded, and cared for our Eagle camper over the past two years.  With the addition of an additional adult and dog (for a total of three adults and two dogs) on our camping trips, this camper is unfortunately too small.

The camper is in excellent condition on the outside and spotless on the inside.  Many many upgrades, functional and cosmetic have been made. Fabric is in excellent condition, just treated with 303.  Camper has been completely detailed, inside and out, ready for purchase.

Starting with the list of standard features:

- Stove / sink / fridge

- Electric waterpump

- Furnace

- Arctic pack

- Fantastic Fan

- Fiamma Awning

- Camper jacks with front bracket swing-outs

- Screen door

- Rear wall steps

- Yakima roof rack system / full length tracks

- Roof is pre-wired for solar

Find below a list of the work been done:

- Abso 2000W inverter / 55A Charger with 2x 6V Lifeline batteries / Full time USB electrical outlets / LED interior lights

Electrical completely redone using an Abso Inverter 2000W / 55A charger.  The stock charger was removed and replaced with the Abso.  The 55 A charger will charge both Lifeline from 70% charge in 2 hours.  Stock camper plug is still used to charge batteries.  Everything works as stock with the benefits of a high capacity inverter and a sizeable battery bank.  Batteries are a year old and have never been discharged under 70%, and been plugged in weekly whether the camper is in storage or in use.  In the pacific northwest Fall with the furnace on every night and liberal use of lights and charging of devices, it will take five days of off the grid camping to take the batteries down to 70%.  The autonomy is such that I do not deem solar necessary for our purpose.  In the summer with the furnace off, there really is no restraint to using lights or charging devices.  All work performed by a professional electrician and in flawless condition.  Wiring diagram included.

Double layer foam / maximised bed foam width for proper closing of roof without compromising comfort / Sunbrella fabric all around / anti-condensation layer under bed

New double layer foam.  Sunbrella indoor/outdoor fabric for wear characteristics and comfort (the full outdoor fabric is stiff and affects the feel of the foam). The lower three pieces are stored in the bed pull-out or simply on the couch when top is down.  We sleep better in the camper than at home, I cannot say enough about how comfortable this mattress has been.  I will be duplicating this exact pattern in our next camper.

- Completely modified under couch storage

The far passenger side corner house the electrical, the rest is designed to house two Wold Pack containers in the middle and two 10L Scepter water cans by the door for easy access.  The black one is used as a grey water tank reservoir, the blue one is used as an additional supply of drinking water. Angle aluminum, stainless steel hardware, and real oak stained to match the stock FWC finish used throughout.

The couch is not able to be used as a pull-out bed anymore.

- Torklift Derringer handles with marine stainless steel tie-downs

Sized to fit each of the four corners / works perfectly in small spaces between the camper and bed of truck / no loosening - ever and as a result, less stress on the camper mounting points.  This set-up has been flawless and has never loosened even after multiple km's of fire-road.  Makes for easy and quick camper removal/install.

- All knobs and hinges replaced with stainless finish items for cosmetic purposes.

- Wooden base painted with marine polyurethane enamel paint / four coats.

- Reflectix window inserts

- Pop-up fabric treated monthly with 303 protectant

- Wiring to the roof redone for durability / no wire splits behind the folding panels / wires are routed as to not kink when the roof is closed.

- LED interior lighting

- Furnace and fridge serviced in the spring.

- Roof preventatively re-sealed when purchased using 3M 3200 and new #10 screws.  Living in the Pacific Northwest I did not want to be dealing with any water ingress.  The original owner had never had any leaking issues but I wanted to not have to worry about it in the future.  The camper hasn't let a drop of water in.  Its been used in 55mm + nights of rain in Haida Gwaii and Northern BC without any leaks.

In my mind, limitations of the stock FWC's of this era have all been addressed:  storage limitations, low battery life, slow charging through stock charger, no inverter, poor bed comfort/condensation, wire issues behind lift panels, no grey water tank storage, small water capacity.

Buying used products, I hate surprises, and have often been disappointed with the condition of used items being sold as in "excellent" condition.  For the purpose of full disclosure:

- Rear wall siding on driver side of rear door has some surface indents due to a mountain bike handlebar being too close to the camper while driving.  This is only cosmetic, but I feel should be mentioned. Visible in pictures.

- Oversink ceiling light is a battery operated LED.  For some reason there is no power to the wiring for this light.  Ceiling fan and other ceiling light (over bed) work as intended and have never shown signs of dysfunction.  Terry @ Four Wheel recommended the battery operated LED as the headliner would have to be removed and roof dismantled to access the wiring (2007 do not have a junction box in ceiling under lifting panel as newer campers do).  The battery powered LED has worked flawlessly and does not use AA batteries excessively.  Both over couch and over sink light fixtures are identical in appearance for cosmetic purposes.

Camper has been stored indoors since Fall 2014 and been unused since (used only a season by me since purchase in 2013).  Have receipts for all of parts purchased. Camper is located in North Vancouver, BC.  1.5 hours from Bellingham, WA, 3 hours from Seattle, WA.

All I can saw is wow - nice camper. I'm not in the market for an Eagle model but you do some great work. I'd love to hear about some of your upgrades - especially the bed and inverter/charger set up. Thanks for sharing your camper!

Nice camper.
I like the open under couch storage. That would make access so much easier. How did you end up bracing the panels East-West panels?

I would also like to hear more about your bed set up.
I saw the picture of the under mattress layer for condensation, what product is it?
My stock mattress is very stiff. I was going to add a memory foam topper, but ended up finding and buying an inflateable queen sized camping pad at Costco earlier this year. It's fairly comfortable, but very noisy.

I'm still looking for the right setup, so any information on yours would be appreciated.

Let me get some pictures together and post more detail about the bed, electrical and storage set-up.  Perhaps a post in the FWC forum would be more appropriate.  I will link it to this add.

Thank you for your interest, I will get to this at the end of my work day.

A few pictures below from the camper on my T100.

I'm pretty sure you sold your camper... Thought I'd check anyway.
