That is a great thread.Many of us have posted our thoughts/installs on it.
IMO if you are doing it yourself get the "new" parts from Surspa company.
There are part #s in the thread. The company site is a little hard to find the right parts but I think I still have them written down or can remember the thread page that has them.
If you do them yourself,my struts plus mounting hardware was 40# struts $30 each ,mounting brackets about $2 each. So about $140
can get you the system.

Thanks everyone ,you saved me a bundle . I am now off the streets and working on ordering and soon installing.

The part # c.16 15952 36" extended,40# strut $30.
Supra company ,on page 74 of "gas springs".

do you have an Eagle? That are different and not cheap.
