Great job, especially the last piece. Your editing skills are sharp. Was that Alan Watts in the voiceover? I used to listen to him over the radio during long, late night drives back in the 60s/70s. Just me, my VW bus, and the lonesome road. Ha ha.
I found the song just on the random youtube channels I listen to while I write.
But on closer examination you are correct, it appears to be Alan Watts.
Glad you like the highlight reel, I am really happy with how it came out.

Porter and I have been texting outside of this site as he rebuilds his roof. One questions that cames up was the layering of the roof, canvas, headliner. So I made a quick sketch and figured I would share it here as well.
Below is a schematic of how I layered everything. When I had originally removed the camper the order of the roof and the canvas was swapped, with the canvas being on the exterior. However, when I put it all back together I tucked the canvas under the roof which I think will be beneficial to resisting weather.
I had actually added one extra piece of canvas and velcro to act as the attachment point for the artic linear.
That is all, just wanted to provide a touch more info I figured someone may appreciate later.

I am spending a lot of tie at home with the new kid. But I still need to make videos, so I am looping back and recaping a lot of the content I talked about on this build page but in video form. Check out the first installment here. Any more questions send them my way.

Recapping a lot of the original work from the early pages of this thread. With a few more details and context with the luxury of the work being behind me.

Hey James,
Nearly all the framing of my Four Wheel Camper is 1" aluminum tube (sqaure) so that is 25mm for your galactic units. Occasionally in the frame there are double width studs so 1X2" or 25X50mm. Some of those double width studs are just two single ones butted and welded together, others are truly extruded to that dimension.
The photos of my drawings live in this google drive.

Maybe it will be better resolution over there.
Thanks for checking out my videos and let me know if there are additional questions I can answer for you - Tim

How wide is the bed piece when it slides out as in side by side measurements. I like the idea of how you slide it in and out of your way. Just wondering does it just push back with board on board and does that catch on the sheets etc. I watched some more of your you tube movies last night and loved the sewing one with the window. Awesome of you to get back to me. I’m a tig welder in my spare time and got pretty competent after my boat modifications.
Cheers
James
