Stan how come you can't order a flatbed model as a shell?

I think to date, we have taken this many orders for the Flat Bed Models (+ or - a few).

Fleet Flat Bed Models =  18

Hawk Flat Bed Models =  20

Grandby Flat Bed Models =  9

Maybe 2/3 of these have been finished and delivered over the past two years.

The remaining 1/3 are still on the production calender, scheduled to be built.

Hope this helps.

Stan

.

Sort of wish I had gone the flatbed route. I love my Hawk, but a bit more inside storage would be nice.

I'm of the same mind.  I envision a flatbed layout on a beefier truck as an ultimate rig.  For now, the Tundra/Hawk is absolutely a great combo.  :P

OEV Aluma 6.75 flatbed, Bundutec Odyssey camper on order for 2024

For this year we're still using our 2008 FWC Hawk with victron DC-DC charger, 130w solar, MPPT controler

with 2000w inverter and external 120v output and 12v solar input with 100w portable solar.   http://lighthawkphoto.com

Very nice if you can afford it. I'm still of half a mind (shhhh) to find a utility bed. I figure those can be found inexpensively.

I am in the process in putting together an order for a fleet flatbed to go on a 2016 Tacoma and have learned a lot browsing Wander the West.   I had a couple of questions I haven't found answers for that some of the people who recently ordered may be able to answer:

1. Do all then new Fleet flat beds have full queen size cab overs?  i.e. you don't have to pull out the little extender and add more cushions?

2. Is the under bed storage now full length (no step on the cab over)?

3. Who is the best flat bed supplier?  Utebed?

4. Where have people sourced the underbody boxes for their flatbeds?

Thanks in advance!
