Norcold Fridge Won't Ignite - Help Please

I had this same problem. Took it to my local RV repair guy; $80 - fixed. The orifice was clogged amongst other things.

What was the solution to the fix?

Are you back from your trip?

Is the sky blue?....With all the smoke here I just need some reasurance....

Not yet -- right now having to deal with Tom and Chicali on arranging repair for the black strap which broke off the back panel. One problem at a time. Having warm beer is a small problem compared to having the roof fall down on your head. :( But thank you for asking.

The outcome of this problem was that, for whatever reason, the Pizzo device is not creating any spark. The good news is that the propane flow is just fine. So I was able to light the pilot manually while my wife pushed down on the gas button inside the camper. Stan said it is rare that the Pizzo piece would fail after only a couple months, but not unheard of. So it will need to be replaced at the same time when we have the roof locking system fixed.
