Here's what Northern Lite is doing for steps now. I'd like to see something similar for the pop ups.

Paul, I agree. Those are nice. It wouldn't work (as is) when pulling a boat, but I bet it could be quickly modified to do so.

The design center for Brophy is in Portland metro area and judging from my call to their office, there is no interest in changing their design. I think they have them made in far East. Bosque Bill had a local welder modify his. A curb in Moab modified my lower step to almost fold over the top step. Made getting & out interesting until I could get the torch on it. ;)

There is an opportunity for someone to generate some income with a good design that solves both towing & camper access.

I bet Aluminess could come up with a great design that would accomodate storage boxes, fuel, spare tires and steps...
