Well I came across a site that is run privately by a NP employee who is posting every NP map he can get online in one searchable site.
There are road maps, trail maps etc.
I thought I'd pass it along in case I wasn't the last person to know about this!!

I don't know who the actual person is but he/she deserves a huge "thank you" from those of us who love our NP's!

Looks like his name is Matt Holly.

The Contact page has the following info at the bottom:

-----------

Who are you?

Although I happen to work for the National Park Service, this site is unaffiliated with the NPS and is simply a side-project of mine that I do when I have free time. You might remember me as the stick recipient from my previous 15 minutes of fame.

---------

The linked article names him.

A search for 'Matt Holly National Park ranger' then led me to this recent article which says he works for the NPS's Natural Resource Stewardship and Science Directorate in Colorado.
