I like it!  A Nantucket sleighride, Idaho style.  

 

The kayakers on the lower Chesapeake Bay have similar experiences catching bull red drum and black drum, and the increasingly rare cow rockfish (the regional term for striped bass).

I have been catching sturgeon this way for years. It is my favorite way to fish for sturgeon. But it can be a little dangerous at times.

Only caught one sturgeon in my life and it was an inch short of being legal. Looks like it be worth it to get non resident license.

Idaho style! I've fished steelhead and salmon, but never sturgeon. Thanks for sharing your video.

They are a blast to catch this way. One friend of mine said it was more personal especially with them on your lap.
