Wow, I never knew there was so much to braking. I figured the brakes would work with the truck loaded or without. Is that a Toyota thing or do all trucks do that?

Ahh no....not my 3/4 Chevy.

Excellent braking with my one ton load. Four wheel disc brakes and most importantly I am 600 pounds UNDER my max payload.

Historically most all trucks had a proportioning valve of some sort. Now that brakes are often more electronic than mechanical things have changed.
