I screwed the mounting plate to the floor of FWC. I mounted the truckfridge, Its now stuck to the floor. I even tried gentle prying with a prybar. If I use any more force I will trash the fridge, plate, or worse the floor of the camper. What do I do?!

I have the mounting plate as well. But I haven't installed it yet. I'll be following this to see what you come up with and why it happened.

I had the mounting plate in our old camper. The mounting studs with a ball on the end catch on spring clips in the holes in the fridge bottom. It takes a hard sharp pull to release.

My friend yanked the hell out of it and it came off.  The amount of force needed cant be what the designer intended. Kinda wishing I had gone with a name brand.

Truckfridge is a name brand. Mine pops right on and off of the mounting plate with a quick tug.
