Just love a trip report that includes the food stops. Ice cream, yum.
Also great that you listed the specs for the combo and that you felt it handled the trip well. Good information.

Reed's Dairy in Idaho Falls has a bunch of my money. Their ice cream is very good.

Great ride along.We have stopped at many of the places you did from Idaho east to the park.
We enjoy that road through Arco and Craters also.
Some times we take the road east from Idaho Falls and stop at Teton for a couple nights then on to the park.
Great to share the trip with your son. He will have very fond memories.

Casa Escarlata Robles Too, thank you for the kind comments. We have mostly completed the NP's of the west and will be starting to venture east. Will keep Tetons and beyond on our list for next year. Thanks.
