We originally planned to do a Deschutes float. It fell through but there was a nice break in the weather last weekend which translated to dry roads in the Owyhee area so we headed there for four days.  Part one of three is posted, part two is almost done, and I hope to have the final part posted tomorrow.  Part one is located here:  http://www.occidenta...d-leslie-gulch/

We had a great trip, hope you enjoy the journey!

Great to see the fall pics of the Owyhee Canyonland country. Looking forward to your next installment. Birch Creek has been on my list for years.

Cheers-

Beautiful country.

Only driven through the area one time on the way north to Boise.

Nice to see the area through your camera.

Thanks

Thanks for taking a look and the kind comments.  It sure is a beautiful place to get away from it all, even while hitting what I suspect to be some of the more well known places.  Part 2 is up, part 3 might have to wait until we get back from this weekends trip....
