[Casa Escarlata Robles Too]

Just read in the "geezer" mag,( AARP),that the lifetime NP cards are going up near the end of year. To $80 as suspected.

So it must be official. There was a bill passed to get more funds into the park service and that was one of the ideas.Also sounds like congress might actually give more money to the parks.

 

Maybe now some work can get done on out outdoor places.

A card was obtained from the local Forest Service Office today, can't mention by whom , but there was a notice that August 1 the price will increase to 80 dollars. Cheers

I have saved over $80 this year alone with mine just for camping.

I have yet to use mine, having ordered it on my 62nd bd last December, I smile when I see it and plan on wearing it out. Like a rite of passage sorta thing I suppose. Not sure who if anyone to thank, I like it !

$80.00 for a lifetime pass at age 62 is still are darn good deal.

 

I'm 55 and have been ponying up my 80 bucks per annum for years now, always managing to squeeze the value out of it every year.

 

Seven more years to go for me. Should be interesting if it's still $80.00 in 2024.
