I have a 2005 Grandby Shell that has a built-in factory riser between the truck bed and the interior floor of the camper. Its probably about three inches high and appears to be aluminum sandwiched between the plywood. Does anyone know how this is constructed? I want to add a propex furnace and thought it would be a really clean install if I could do a floor mount and fish the intake/exhaust vents through this void and out the back of the camper.

Maybe more hassle than its worth but curious if anyone has any pics of how the riser is constructed?
