Am planning a musical voyage to southwest Virginia to explore bluegrass and mountain music....

What's your pleasure? Commercial CGs, NF CGs, or disbursed sites? Disbursed sites can be a little hard to find.
Are you in a truck camper, camper trailer, or other?
I'm fairly familiar with the Bristol/Abingdon/Damascus/Floyd area as well as adjacent portions of NC and TN. Be a little more specific about your plans and what you're bringing and I'll give you some ideas.

Don't know your time frame but if you like Blue Grass you should find the time to go to the Old Time Fiddlers Convention in Galax, Va.
There are literally hundreds of very talented musicians that show up. Camping will require reservations ....
