The bucket is curved perfectly to throw the heat out at you. Sorry for hijacking this thread - hadn't seen any recent activity.

No hijack, looks like a fire ring to me. Do you have a little trailer to tow it to campsites with? :)

No, I just throw it up on the roof rack and bungee it down :D

I can't take credit for this idea - I'm not that imaginative. I got to use one last year when my wife and I had rented an off the grid "hippy shack" near Punakaiki NZ.

Punakaiki NZ - isn't that where they have the famous pancake rocks along the shore? I think I saw them in a cover photo on Bing recently.

 

I also noted what looks like a cleaver next to the bucket. 

Looks interesting. what is it if I my ask?

You're right on - Punakaiki is where the pancake rocks are. The cleaver is a Japanese limbing/brush hatchet commonly called "Azuma". I use it primarily as a kindling axe.
