Installed backup camera on 2nd gen Tundra

Hi,

 

This took me some time to figure out so thought some people here might find this helpful:

 

How to install a backup camera on a 2nd gen Tundra (2007-2013).

 

I followed these instructions:

Except I did not have voltage for some reason, so I added the ground (small black big white ) and 12v ( small red big blue) mentioned here

 

 

I added these to the ground and 12v in the initial instructions (I did not run wires to the front) and things worked great after that.

Here you go, a backup camera for 40 dollars!

 

Note, apparently some 2012+ are wired but the wires aren't working. Read the tundratalk thread for details. Things worked well on my 2011.
