As I mentioned above, offroad is no real problem. Weight is a little trickier. Our`s, a F150XLT SC 4x4 HD pck. offroad pck. 8ft bed full with Water and gas (36 gall.), bicycle rack w. 2 bikes, 4 jacks, tons of stuff and 2 adults comes up to 8300 pounds.

Never had a problem. When you go to book a site most places will have a max length for that campsite. Find a site that your truck will fit and book it. I use Google satellite to check for solar sights
