We have found out that our discoveries on this trip are new to DVNP staff. I am working on a detailed report for the researcher I've been in contact with. Park staff will be visiting the site. I have removed photos and edited our blog story.  This was a personal decision on my part.

Now I wonder what I missed. Apparently, I didn't read part 3 soon enough.

It was awesome. While I doubt anyone here would use any information gleaned inappropriately, still its better to safe than sorry.

Hay ski maybe you could be a site steward for DVNP. The BLM offers that to some folks who like to volunteer.
Congrats on the find it is cool.

As usual, you all have me all fired up to go back to DV.  Unfortunately, the park proper is not so dog friendly, so I'll have to keep my activities to the Saline Valley side of it all because I hate the idea of boarding my camp buddy in a kennel.  I hope to make it back to SV this spring.  I usually go in Nov. each year, but I can't wait a whole year between trips.  The desert, she's a calling...
