Taking the seat out gained me about 8” of space, the platform leveled the floor and gave me another stash for chairs tools etc.
There usually is a dog bed there. It was out next to my chair, I was digging for a phone cable and they jumped in.
Cell phones die quickly without a signal........
Your backseat platform is a great mod! I'm getting my Grandby installed in two weeks, and my truck (F350) also has a supercab (to cut down on overall length). Thanks for sharing your trip!

I had to chuckle a bit, the mod was just thrown together really quickly. I never used the seat and I have room to store it.
If I was to replace my truck I’d get a f350 flatbed and put toolboxes down the sides.
