At rack attack in Portland they sold me the Yakima slide-in flat nuts for one dollar apiece.

They are 6 mm.

I couldn’t find an inexpensive source online.

The Thule TK1 nuts can be inserted and removed without pulling the end caps from the tracks. Same $1.00 ar Rack Attack. $1.35 at eTrailer.

I have to ask you Sage, will the Thule TK1 nuts you posted fit in the Yakima tracks also?

Absolutely! I used them on my Grandby and the Bobcat. Both with Yakima Tracks.

Doesn’t your rack already have nuts in it, should be 4 a side?

Same for the Grandby I had. No track nuts at all. TK 1 nuts worked fine...
