Beautiful set up ! Congrats and Many Happy Travels with it.

Couple of questions if I may:
- I like the look of storage space inside, is there more and is it very usable under the dinette benches ?
- Old days we used to put the battery(s) in the truck bed, between the camper and box sides, do you think that is possible with your truck and camper model ?
- Interested in the king bed, guessing the mattress consists of two large pads (queen size) and two small ones. Do you think someone could turf the small ones and make up like a N/S queen ? (that reads funny :P ). If you could keep the pads from spreading apart, that is.

There is a fairly large space under each dinette bench. The area under the dinette (where you’d place your feet) has two doors leading to a shallow, but large, storage space. If you ordered an inside shower (we didn’t), this would be the shower floor. We plan to keep our shoes in here:

The bed pulls out to make a king. Four smaller pads are added at the foot. Not sure how your N/S queen would work(?).

I’m no expert, but I don’t think the camper industry places batteries outside anymore.

Great setup!

I also have a F350 '17 - wanted that payload capacity - and feel like I should have a sign on the back saying, " The size of this truck was not my design" Have you noticed that people seem to dive out of the way when they see your truck coming?  :P

The whole rig looks well thought out and comfy. Congrats!!

Your rig looks great.  I too have a pretty new Grandby on a new Ford.  For a lot of reasons I went with a F-150 single cab.  With the Heavy Duty Package, I have a Payload Capacity of 3,159 pounds.  Not near as much as your F-350, but it is enough to handle my Grandby, fully loaded.

I too went without the hot water and without the shower, so I also have the extra storage spaces.  On the cabinet for storage where the hot water goes (if we had one), they installed a thin sheet of plywood just to the right on the inside of the space.  I didn't see the reason for this, so I removed it.  (Very easy).  This freed up a lot of extra room in this cabinet.  I did install protection around the wires that became exposed, so now there is nothing there that will be a problem.  I thereby made extra storage out of what was wasted space!

I also made a cubby right above that space, where that small removable door is located.  I enlarged the opening a bit, installed a floor and walls, and installed a hinged door.  I  will be posting more details of this project when I am done with it.
