I was trying to see where Ski went in the White Mountains. Decided I don't have a clue but it was fun looking around anyway. But, it drives me nuts when I zoom in and GE starts to tilt. Anyone know how to prevent that?

Yep, that is annoying.
Go to "Tools" on the main menu bar at the top, click on it and then select "Options".
When you get the popup window, click on the top tab "Navigation", then find the "Do Not automatically tilt while zooming" and click it to activate that feature.
I also like to have the "Gradually slow the Earth when rotating or zooming", selected.
On the same "navigation" popup window, you can also select the "Fly-To-Speed" and the "Mouse Wheel" speed.

Thanks much. Options is kinda hard to find. No wonder I didn't see that earlier.

Thanks to Craig for asking the question, and to Alley-Kat for the answer!
Yes, the tilting bothers me as well.

You are all welcome.

Now shall we get to flying lessons in GoogleEarth?
One on my most fun and rewarding things is to fly around (in GoogleEarth, well, real life, too) an area that I wish to visit, camp, etc.
That's probably too hard to do via text instructions. Wish I was good at doing video productions.
