Susan and I traveled 3-1/2 hours North to the Southern shore of Lake Michigan.  Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore comprises over 15,000 acres along the Southern shore of Lake Michigan, stretching from Gary to the West and Michigan City, IN to the East.

 

A weekend didn't give us enough time to see the entire park.  Mother nature also didn't cooperate.  It was a nice trip all the same.
