Yeah... at 8am they said "yeah! yeah! It's in stock! Sure, we can definitely get it to your overnight shipping!"

Then at 10am they said "uhhh, looks like there's some issue... oh, it's fine, it'll for sure be there tomorrow"

Then at 2pm (when I hadn't received a tracking email)... they said, "looks like it's on backorder."

That's when I said, "cancel it"

I'll order one of those for realz when I get located somewhere. It's handy!

PUPPIES?!?!? POST PICTURES!  :D

I also have a Kindle, but I still have a book problem. I did whittle it down to only six in the camper tho.

I don't remember who makes my folding saw, but I have a Fiskars axe and hatchet. I've cut plenty of firewood and kindling in my time, so I'm not worried about using them (tho it's been ages, so I'll be sore if I hafta chop a tree out of the way. hahaha!)

But after this discussion, I'm thinking about getting a more capable saw. The folding one is nice, but I don't have confidence it could "clear a few roads" like Sage's up there.

I should carry less food. I get low blood sugar and sluggish and indecisive, so I keep food around. That said, I am sure I don't need all the groceries I currently have. Ha!

But I made my head feel better about my truck+camper weight and realized that listed GVWR is for a stock vehicle, and I have more leeway since I've got all my burlier suspension and tires.

(shameless plug)

I have a Trip Report thread going now too (In the interest of saving bandwidth while I'm on the road, since I'm hotspotting my phone, I'm just gonna post a link to my blog in that TR thread)

Thanks, Machinebuilder!

I'm glad to be of some assistance................ ;)

I saw on Facebook where you have canceled the order,

I had been having a similar dilemma concerning traveling with both the bike and my dogs. unfortunately my travel plans got postponed do to my young GSP having puppies unexpectedly.

I carry a Kindle instead of books, IMHO its the best fo traveling.

for a saw I have a pruning saw, the teeth are similar to a chainsaw and it cuts much better that any bow saw I've had.

I got a Stihl axe this year (made by oxhead) it's a great camping axe.

Food...there are stores all over the country, Water yes I carry plenty,

good luck with your travels, HAVE FUN
