Thanks Craig.Something to keep in mind.

I had a set of their springs on my Ford Ranger

and they worked well.

If my Firestone air bags need replacement these would be a good bag.

I know someone who really likes Sumosprings. I think I'll use them on our Tacoma/Fleet. We have truck, camper shows up in Sept. Probably go with the 1000 lb version, not the 500 lb, but still debating. I estimate we'll be a few hundred pounds overweight.

Has anyone be able to sucessfully navigate their website for a price quote ?

 

I can only get to a quote for their super spring....not the sumo spring.

 

I hate being old.....well, really, I more hate online shopping.

I bought mine from suspensionconnection.com because I hate paying Kalifornia's high sales tax. Plus they offered 10% off and free shipping. I went with the 2800 lb. version.

I have had Sumo's on my '13 Taco w/'15 Fleet for 18+ months now.  First put in Bilstein 5100's and setup has worked great.  They are very easy to install, just take out old bump stops and screw them in to replace.  Sitting still, they actually don't touch.  Once you hit a good bump, they start working.  I would love to hookup a GoPro under there and see what they actually look like in action.

camper no sumos: 33.75"

The 1000lb sumosprings might have been better choice to get some more travel back.  I'm debating on getting the 1000lbs or trying Torklift Stableloads.

I just installed the black Sumosprings (https://www.superspr...hop/SSR-612-47/)on our 2018 Tacoma, which is empty weight. Super easy to do and I didn't have to lift the truck. There's still 1-1/8" clearance between the springs and the frame stop. I'm sure that will change once the camper is installed! Anyway I screwed the springs to their bases before installing.

 

It took lots of pondering before I decided on the black ones (1000 lb) instead of blue (500 lb). I even called Supersprings, who recommended black. They said if the black didn't work right they'd swap for the blue. So I bought them directly from Supersprings, no tax or shipping to WA state. In the end I figured the camper was about 1000 lb, so why not try that value. Not terribly scientific, but what's done is done.
