A walk around and check is always a good idea.

Things like latches/fan cover/door closed always at the top things to check.

Frank.

When we go backpacking, we just pick up stuff from the last trip and hope for the best. At the beginning of the season, or when the weather changes, we forget stuff. I don't wanna do that for the camper, so here's my first cut at an extensive check list. (I hope this works, I tried attaching a Word file but WTW's board doesn't allow. This is my first attempt at a Google Doc that anyone can access). Thanks to previous posters who donated great ideas! :D

I do two walkarounds. One before I leave and the one after I pull up a  bit.

Yes, always site check after have moved. Same for stops hiking, photos, sight seeing, rearranging etc, always take a look back for a site check.

For secondary with camper I usually just do a visual from the vehicle but might have to maneuver the vehicle a bit to better see.
