We heard from a ranger that Lake of the Woods campground had to be shut down due to vandalism of the iron ranger. Really, how much money did those idiots think was in there?
We had this discussion with the USFS a couple of weeks ago about our local forest. People break into fee tubes all the time. Sad.

Yes, I cannot inderstand. These people used a winch and cable. They broke it but didnt get any money. At the dame campground, a camper had their generator stolen. I still brlieve we are safer on BLM/USFS and other public lands than in cities.We had this discussion with the USFS a couple of weeks ago about our local forest.
