Took my camper out for the first time Friday-Saturday. She probably hasn't been camped in for years but it went very nice. I love the big windows in it. I took the old curtains out and haven't had time to get new ones and fell asleep looking up at the moon and stars.

The first trip I took was a Memorial Weekend to Wild Plum CG by myself. It was great having all that space to myself. (joke).
While it got cold at night (I had no idea what a "Pirelli seal" was and they were shredded long ago), I was snug and toasty in my sleeping bag. About 2-3am or so, the monsoonal rain started and that plus the sound of wet tent campers packing up and leaving woke me up. I opened the top door for awhile to see the water running through the CG,
Then, back to bed.
The second trip with the wife to Yosemite....we left after work from Marin and ran into lightning and rain crossing the valley but pulled into an "overflow" area just outside the gates. I confidently raised the top and escorted the wife into our dry and comfy bed for the night and after breakfast, went into the Park.
Yup...those first trips after being a tent or tiny camper shell camper were so cool (nothing leaked thank God) that I knew a more refined era of camping was on the horizon for us!
Enjoy your new set up, do suggested maintenance and up grades you like and you will be ready for some great adventures!
