These were removed from a 2003 Eagle Four Wheel Camper. I have sold the camper and just found these recently. They are intended to support the side seat bottom when folded down into a bed. They are 12" when deployed. I am hoping they are just what you need for your Shell build-up.

So do these attach to what is otherwise the removable backrest on the couch? I don't know what you mean specifically by "side seat bottom". can you send photo of what these attach to?

I don't recall them being attached to the backrest but rather the "couch" seat bottom so that when it is pulled out, the seat bottom is supported. Sorry but I have no pictures.

Here is a picture of the couch seat back from my friends 1984 FWC Keystone that shows the folding legs attached and folded.

Thank you kindly for the picture! So I guess they are attached to the seat back. I stand corrected on this.

I think they could be used on the bottom or the back when used as a pull out. When I build my side bed, I used them on the seat part. I slide the seat bottom out, then fold the legs down to support it. Then the seat back fills in the space where the bottom slid out.

Mine are on the bottom

oldhotrod,

I also had an older 1980's Keystone (basically the same as my friend's model) and the legs were attached to the couch back not the seat bottom.  Interesting that in some campers the legs were attached to the seat bottom.  I wonder if this varied by model or for some other reason besides random.  ;-)
