For those of us who love the stories of adventure, here is a good read -

Racing Across Antarctica, One Frozen Day At A Time

This story hits close to home for the Lady and me. Our little buddy, who has been the subject of several of our blog stories, was a member of a four man arctic adventure in 1986, each on skis pulling 125 lb. sleds. In route, they stopped at the magnetic north pole.

Great article!

Having spent a couple of days stuck out on the Ross Ice shelf, I can't imagine having to actually having to ski 10 - 20 miles a day.  Just surviving is more than enough work.
