Ordered some maps from BLM. Not exactly the cutting edge of technology there. No, not coast range, coso range. They were cheap though.

I should say nicer things about BLM. Maps arrived today. They even tossed in EIGHT subregion ohv maps. Btw, I was wrong, its not the Ridgecrest map, its the Darwin Hills map that covers Coso. Good thing I ordered both
Oh, I see why the extra maps. Darwin Hills has 1999 date. Ridgecrest is 2008. The ohv maps are all date 2011.

I've been wanting to explore the Coso area for a long time.
I've been to the canyon in the Nelson Range and it is amazing.
