Does anyone know the exact location of the Hot Springs pool near the Soldier Meadow's cabin and BLM pit toilet. Last time we were out there, we could not find the actual pool. ??? Thanks!

The time I went there I drove from Gerlach up Soldier Meadows Road - just before you get to Solder Meadows Cabins and Resort it's to your left. I don't remember any signage but it was late in the day ( 11/2/13 ) according to my photos) and I saw the steam coming up from the pools so I just followed the dirt road up to it.
Highly recommend High Rock Canyon if you have the time. I spent a couple days there and only saw a middle aged couple backpacking. Turns out they were training for their PCT through hike in the spring. Good luck finding the pools - there are several roads in the area that criss cross the main roads but you'll eventually get there. It's no more than a 1/2 mile or so off Solder Meadow Road
