I hadn't seen this posted here so wanted to share:

 

XP built a flatbed with an integrated set of pull out steps.  This seems to solve one of the biggest problems with the flatbed campers - quick and easy access.   And it eliminates the need to store a large set of steps.

Good link. Very slick. And at cost of ~2'' of height I'd guess. I think that would work at the rear for some slide ins too. Esp if need a riser platform.

 

Nice to see XP as deck option.

Those who know or remember "Joaquin Suave" may recall that the rear steps on his Casa Azul articulate in a similar fashion.
