For what it's worth 3M adhesive sticks just fine to the black panels. My Wife has put hooks and a dry erase note board on the black panel with 3M adhesive strips, and all are still there a year later. She also made nicer curtains with a "Canadiana" pattern (as I like to call it) to personalize the interior a bit. Last year at the FWC open house at Mule Expedition in Washington there was a lady who even made a padded wrap out of the same curtain material she used to cover the push up bar above the bed.
