Four Wheel Campers has reserved a 1500 acre private ranch for weekend event

Hello FWC Rally & Campout Attendees

 

The event is just a few days away.  Fun times ahead!    

 

Below is some important information about the event and CORRECT directions.

 

Important Direction Details:

 

If you are using GPS, and enter the ranch address, Google Maps or your GPS will most likey directly to the WRONG location.

 

The ranch address is officially ... Diamond S Ranch, 2634 County Road A 23 Beckwourth CA 96129

 

BUT ... with Google Maps, if you enter "Eco Bike Adventures, Sierra Valley", that should lead you to the correct entrance of the ranch.

 

Look for the ATV in the Air on the big pole, and the 3 wagon wheels on the fence.

 

From Reno: Take highway 395 north to Hallelujah Junction. Take Highway 70 west to Beckwourth, California. Go 1/8 mile past Beckwourth on Hwy 70 and turn South (left turn) on County Road A-23. Continue 2.3 miles on A-23, and you will see an ATV high in the air on your right. That’s us! Total driving time about 45 minutes.
 
From Truckee: From Truckee or I-80, take Hwy 89 north to Sierraville, California. At the “T” in Sierraville, turn left on Hwy 89 (yes, it’s still the same road!) to Sattley. At Sattley, turn right on County Road A-23. From there, go 12.8 miles. You will see an ATV high in the air on your left. You’re here. Total driving time about 45 minutes.
 
From Graeagle: Take Hwy 89 north to Hwy 70 east and head toward Portola. About five miles after you go through Portola, turn right on County Road A-23. You will see an ATV high in the air on your right. You’ve arrived. Total driving time about 20 minutes.
 
Look for the ATV in the Air.

If you are coming from Truckee via Highway 89/49, we are on the left.

If you are coming from Portla via Highway 70. We are on the right side.

 

Check-in:

Check in will start at 12:00pm noon this Friday (June 7th). Please no early arrivals, as our staff might not be there yet to get you settled in.

 

Accomoditions:

Remote camping / dispursed camping in a beautiful High Sierra meadow. It is a great way to use your camper as it was designed. Off-the grid, and away from the crowded cities. Find your spot, make camp, and enjoy the endless stars at night.

 

Restrooms & Showers:

 

The ranch will be renting Porta Pottis for us and having them on site for the event. You are more than welcome to use your own porta potti (if your camper has one).

 

Shower Accomoditions: Unfortunately there are NO on-site bathrooms or shower facilities at the ranch. There will be a couple places where you can fill up your camper water tank if needed. Customers will either be using their solar showers, their built-in camper showers (if you have one), jumping in the pond for a cool dip, or not showering for the 2 nights we are camping there.

 

Breakfasts & Dinners:

Four Wheel Campers will provide dinner on Friday night, a continental breakfast on Saturday morning, another dinner on Saturday evening, and a light continental breakfast Sunday morning.

Customers will be on their own for lunches, so you will need to bring a few snacks to get through the day.

• Note: If you have special food needs, please bring your own special food or snacks. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accommodate everyone’s food needs, but we will do our best!!
