We still manage to have all kinds of fun on the weekends, etc., that we aren't traveling with our camper. Here is a story of three backcountry ski trips in our backyard. The photos and story can be found posted on our blog -

Love it!!! Free the heels, free the mind.

The buried shelter reminded me that somewhere in our prints, there’s a photo of me on the top of the flagpole at Crater Lake. The drift was at least 30 feet deep.

Thanks Mr. Sage! Once before, since the shelter was put in, we have seen it completely buried. Another thing to contemplate is the tremendous weight of a snowpack like this at 40% water content.
