I'm at the City of Rocks and Castle Rock this month volunteering.  I'm writing some posts to my blog, but the blog posts are truly uneventful. This is a quite place at the end of the pavement.

What you may not know; is that, the City of Rocks campground is something special.  Camp sites are nestled in by the granite rock and there is a huge variability between the different campsites.  Differences are size, location to road, view, and privacy.  Many of the sites reserve in advance, especially on weekends.

I'm offering to check out camp sites for anyone and report back - maybe with a photo. So, send me camp site numbers that you would like me to review.  One caveat; if I get gobs of requests, I won't be able to check them all out.

I'll be here through the end of May.

And if you wonder - no I am not a rock climber but the rocks here are incredible.  Some rocks  are 2.5 billion years old.

Camping with a small trailer.  Everyday is a good day to go camping.

I haven't camped there, but I have stopped by for hiking, photography and exploring on my way to Eastern Idaho a couple times.  Interesting area...
