I've got a 1999 Hawk with a leaky roof. Rather than trying to seal individual potential gaps, I'm sorely tempted to coat the whole dang thing with "Gardner Sta Kool 780". It's meant for exactly this task. It's some sort of "elastomeric siliconized" roof coating. Am I missing something? Should I steer clear? I'm hoping to seal it up soon, so as to be ready for a full summer of campering!

Probably ok. I used Raptor truck bed liner on mine about 10 years ago and it is still leak free.

I used Gaco Roof on mine.. I am a roofing contractor and use it on flat roofs regularly, works great, no leaks.. comes with a 50 year warranty on flat roofs so it must be good.. comes in one gallon or 5 gallon buckets.. one was plenty for 2 coats on mine. also used it on the outside of the floor pack wood..

Coated mine. http://www.wanderthe...?hl=henry's

Lifetime warranty versus the 10 year warranty for the stuff you're looking at.

For what its worth, I'm digging the StaCool coating. I've got leaks still, but they're not coming through the roof.

No issues with the Henry's so far. I'd do it again.
