Never been there and not sure what this video is really promoting but they say it is 2 days after the 7.1 quake. https://m.youtube.co...h?v=LBJmPEDqaVg

According to this report Trona was very affected. https://heavy.com/ne...-damage-photos/

I read or heard a report that at least one pinnacle toppled.

I'd have been surprised if the pinnacles survived unscathed. My local paper had coverage of it. Including a report of a guy who was working on a boiler ten stories up at the searles mineral plant (don't ask me why a boiler would be elevated) when the quake struck. "I was holding on for dear life," he said, laughing. "That was quite a ride."

Finally seeing some reports from Trona. As of this morning still no running water. Encouraged to see Cal Nat Guard arrive with tanker trucks of water. It’s already hot out there and going to get hotter beginning Friday with incoming heat wave. If any members from that area are checking this site maybe a shout out on conditions and/or needs. Good luck to all in the area.

Heard on the news this morning about a possible fatality linked to the 6.4 quake. A man's body was found under a jeep in Pahrump, NV. It appears he was working under the jeep when the quake hit and the jeep was knocked off supports.

I think this is what I read, so maybe no spires are down:

"The earthquake knocked over a boulder that sat atop one of the rock spires at Trona Pinnacles outside of Ridgecrest, a collection of towering rock formations that has been featured in commercials and films, said Martha Maciel, a Bureau of Land Management spokeswoman in California."
