I know numerous folks have done rebuilds, including siding.  Is there a name/brand for the usual siding used in building these campers?  I'd like to buy a chunk locally (shipping is crazy expensive for something like siding) to redo the front side of my PUMA.  I plan to eliminate the window completely and build cabinets along the front wall on the inside.

Thanks for the help!

Not sure of any brand names, but you might search on painted aluminum, and various rv siding options might show up. I work at a coated steel mill where we galvanize and paint steel for various products. Siding, roofing etc. it goes out in coils to roll formers. We have painted aluminum before, but it was really just a test.

I know you don't want to have something shipped but, these guys might be worth a shot.

The Metal Company

If memory serves me, they may have been the ones that provided the original siding when 4Wheel was located in Colorado.

Vic why don't you contact Marty at ATC he should be able to give you some info.

Your idea sounds like it might be useful.
